My wife was at the Dr. yesterday for blood work as she is being tested for Lupus. [please keep this in your prayers]
She woke up Sunday morning with every joint in her body swollen and aching. This was all of the sudden and no previous symptoms. We are praying that it is just some type of virus, but I have read that it could also be stress induced. Thanks for any prayers.

Yours in Kenpo,
Tim

To all my family and friends,

Last Sunday morning my wife Debbie woke up sore with all of her body joints inflamed and swollen. Preliminary blood test were normal, other blood work showed some abnormalities. Debbie is being sent to a specialist in two weeks for more tests.

As I am told so far, her symptoms could be the result of several things, but the Dr. has been asking if "Lupus" is in her family history? [there is no history of Lupus in her family that we know of but he is still looking in that direction] At this point we are praying that the further tests will rule out Lupus and hoping she is experiencing something that will go away or can be treated.

I am asking for every ones prayers that if it is the Lords will, he will remove from Debbie whatever this is that is ailing her. Pray that the Lord guide the Dr. in properly diagnosing this illness and prescribing the proper treatment. Please pray for peace of mind for Debbie and our family. I also ask if any of you are involved with churches or prayer groups that you please help spread the need to your friends for prayers these next two weeks. I will update you in a few weeks when we learn more.
[family members; my mother does not know of this right now, so do not mention it should you talk to her]

Thank you all very much,
Tim

Thanks to everyone for their prayers. Is no news good news?

Debbie had her second Dr. visit yesterday with the specialist to go over the results of her second barrage of blood work. We are told that her blood work was sent out to a top lab in CA for analysis. And for the results?

The Dr. has no idea.............. Arthritis was ruled out along with some other possibilities. The only thing known for sure is that she has joint inflammation and pain and that the "A" part of her blood is off the same as it is in cases of Lupus. Debbie has absolutely NO other symptoms so Lupus can not be diagnosed. The Dr. has no other answers at all at this time. So you know what we know.

He wants to put her on some kind of blood/anti-inflamatory drug used to treat malaria among other things. It is very strong with many possible side effects. [She is not getting the prescription filled.]

Please keep the prayers coming. If anyone has any other suggestions or possibilities, please let us know.

Thank you!
Tim
